Lawfulness of processing

This site processes data primarily based on user consent. Consent is given via the banner which appears at the bottom of the page. Additional consents relating to specific purposes of the service are collected through communication or service request forms.

The conferment of data and therefore the consent to the collection and processing of such data is optional; the user can deny consent, and can revoke a consent already given at any time (via the banner at the bottom of the page, the browser settings for cookies or the Contacts link). However, denying consent may result in the inability to provide certain services and the site browsing experience may be compromised.

Purpose of the processing

The processing of data collected by the site, in addition to the relevant purposes, instrumental and necessary for the provision of the service, is aimed at the following purposes:

Statistics (analysis)
Data and information collection in aggregate and anonymous form only, in order to verify the correct functioning of the site. None of this information is related to the User of the site and does not allow identification in any way. Consent is not required.
Security
Data and information collection in order to protect the security of the site (spam filters, firewall, virus detection) and of the Users and to prevent or expose fraud or abuse to the detriment of the website. Data are automatically recorded and may possibly include personal data (Ip address) which may be used, in accordance with applicable law, in order to block attempts to damage the site itself or other users, or in any case harmful or criminal activities. Such data are never used for User identification of profiling and are deleted periodically. No consent is required.
Ancillary activities
Communicate data to third parties who perform functions necessary or instrumental to the operation of the service, and to allow third parties to perform technical, logistics and other activities on our behalf. Providers only have access to personal data that are necessary to perform their duties, and undertake not to use the data for other purposes, and are required to process personal data in accordance with applicable regulations.

Place of data processing

The data collected from the site are processed at the headquarters of the Data, and at the web hosting datacenter (Aruba, with registered office in Via San Clemente, no. 53, Ponte San Pietro – 24036 BG – Italy), which processes data on behalf of the Data Controller and is located in the European Economic and acts in accordance with European standards.

Data retention period

The data collected from the site during its operation are stored for the time strictly necessary to carry out the specified activities. Upon expiration, data will be deleted or made anonymous, unless there are further purposes for their retention. Data (IP address) used for the site security purposes (blocking attempts to damage the site) are stored for 7 days.

Data transfer to extra EU countries

This site may share some of the data collected with services located outside the European Union area. In particular with Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram via social plugins and the Google Analytics service. Data transfer is authorized on the basis of specifi decisions of the European Data Protection Board (EDPB), in particular with the decision adopted on 10/07/2023, Data Privacy Framework.

Cookies

This site uses cookies. Cookies are small text file that are stored on the user’s terminal or that allow access to information on the user’s terminal. Cookies allow information on the visitors’ preferences to be stored, are used in order to verify the proper functioning of the site and to improve its functionality by customizing the content of the pages according to the type of browser used, or to simplify navigation by automatizing the procedures (i.e., Login, site language), and finally for the analysis of the use of the site by visitors.

This site uses the following categories of cookies:

Data collected: browser identifier, date and place of interaction with the site, referring page, IP address.

Place of data processing: European Union, being the anonymization of the service active.

Data collected do not allow personal identification of the users and are not crossed with other information of the same person. They are processed in an aggregate and anonymized form. Based on a specific agreement, Google Inc. is prohibited from cross-referencing such data with data collected by other services.

Social Network Plugins

The site contains plugins and/or buttons in order to allow easy sharing of content on your favorite social networks. When you visit a page on our website which contains a plugin, your browser connects directly to the servers of the social network where the plugin is loaded from, which server may track your visit to our website and, if appropriate, associate it with your social account, in particular if you are logged in at the time of the visit or if you have recently browsed one of the websites containing social plugins. If you do not want social networks to record data related to your visit to our website, you must log out of your account and, probably, delete the cookies that the social network has installed in your browser.

Security measures

User data are processed in a lawful and correct manner, by adopting the appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification or unauthorized destruction of data. We are committed to protecting the security of your personal data when they are sent, using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information in transit. Data processing is carried out using electronical and/or telematic means, with organizational methods and logics strictly connected to the purposes indicated. In addition to the data controller, in some cases, categories of agents involved in the organization of the site or external subjects (such as third-party technical service providers, hosting providers) may have access to the data.

User’s rights

Pursuant to European Regulation 679/2016 (GDPR) and to Art. 7 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003, the User may, within the methodologies and limits provided for by current law, exercise the following rights:
