The project aims to involve and develop skills and abilities of young people aged between 16 and 30 years old, in the field of the photographic technique and visual communication area; the core of the idea is to provide young participants with a series of both speculative tools and technical abilities to give voice to their expressiveness, personal voice and self-awareness.
Moreover, the photographic gesture conveys artistic practices to implement knowledge and recognition on social issues, focusing on matters such as medical diversity and physical and/or mental disability. Youngsters and people experiencing this specific reality meet, get in contact and work together in the context of a series of workshops that favour the production of visual narrations and the sense of reciprocal awareness that in a wider sense encourage encounters through a mutual exploration supported by the visual medium.
